Who We Are, What We Believe

Alcoholics for Christ is a non-Denominational, non-profit Christian Fellowship for the alcoholic and his family and is dedicated to the lifting up of Jesus Christ, as well as sharing His burden for the lost and hurting individuals. We believe that "God as we understand Him" is the Triune God, "God the Father", "God the Son", and "God the Holy Sprit", and the acceptance of Jesus Christ as personal Savior is the doorway to fullness of life in the spirit as well as the means by which we can turn our lives and will completely over to His care.

This Fellowship uses the word of God as it's primary source of direction. We believe that the principals of the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous in our lives are God given tools, and should be a part of each members recovery. Our goal is to restore the alcoholic, their famlies and other concerned persons to a sober life and a relationlship with Jesus Christ and through the pincipals found in Gods word and in the 12 steps, help the alcoholic to be aware of the mighty tools available to him or her as a born again believer. We believe that by this process God begins the healing of the inner man and working outward and as the alcoholic dies to self-he or she is reborn to life through the power of God.

The alcoholic is encouraged to remain active in his or her local A.A. groups and where possible, to continue to worship within his or her church or body of believers of their liking. We suggest that there be no Denominational ties in A.F.C. but all are encouraged to become active in a Bible believing church of their choice. All of the leaders are in service to God and the groups.

Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another-and all the more as you see the day approaching.
